Danley Does Good

GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA: Long known as an innovator in the world of loudspeakers and subwoofers for professional sound reinforcement, Danley Sound Labs is also doing good works in the community, recognizing that it has a social and spiritual obligation to make the world a better place.

On Friday, April 22, Danley Sound Labs’ engineering and administrative operations all but closed down for the day.  A large group of employees participated in a “Danley Does Good” event by helping build and prepare the Habitat for Humanity of Hall County’s new ReStore architectural salvage and resale facility. The Danley team framed and dry-walled a new office, built special frames for displaying salvaged doors, organized and cleaned the attached warehouse, sorted and repacked storage units, and priced items for the showroom.

“You have no idea how much your team accomplished,” said the Volunteer Coordinator for Habitat. “We are so grateful for the ‘get it done’ attitude that the Danley crew brought on Friday.  Truly, we can’t do what we do without people like you.”

“Everyone knows that Danley sounds good,” said Danley President and CEO Mike Hedden. “We want to be sure they also know that Danley does good.”
