Delhi-Meerut Expressway gets 1,900-crore boost

The government on Thursday approved widening of the 19-km stretch between Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border and Dasna and allocated Rs.1,983 crore as part of the package to build the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said in a statement after the Cabinet meeting.

The approval to widen the crucial UP Gate to Dasna stretch of the Delhi-Meerut Expressway will ease traffic congestion in the Capital.
