Much has been said about the Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt superhero film that is supposed to be directed by
Ayan Mukerji. The project, which will be produced by
Karan Johar, had a lot of buzz around it including rumours that it was shelved.
However,
Alia Bhatt ended to all such discussion in an interview with Hindustan Times. She said, 'I would ideally not clarify such baseless rumours, but since I have been asked to, let me put the record straight.
It hasn't been shelved. The pre-production work is on in full swing. We will definitely be starting the film by the end of this year. It is a very exciting project.'
The 23-year-old actor who is going to start work on Gauri Shinde's next said, 'This time we will wrap up the movie.' Alia's next onscreen work is opposite Varun Dhawan in director Shashank Khaitan's film produced by Karan Johar, and the actor is quite pleased with the production house, 'It is fantastic, because they (Karan's production house) get into the love story space fantastically well,' she said.
