NE states suffer from less case, not judges: Outgoing Tripura CJ

Agartala, May 11 (UNI) At a time when Chief Justice of Indian Tirath Singh Thakur said there is an inadequate number of judges to handle pending cases, outgoing Tripura High Court Chief Justice Deepak Gupta today rued over less number of cases reported to the courts in the state.
Interacting with media persons, Justice Gupta lamented that courts in Tripura did not have insufficient judges but very less number of cases have been coming to the court.
He added it as a cause of concern for the judiciary in the state and too in other states of northeast.
