What sets it apart from other games of the genre is the use of RPG elements – players can develop their characters by collecting fully upgradable body implants and gear sets, acquire special abilities and purchase upgradable weapons of all sorts in the game shop. One of the most anticipated features of the game is the online multiplayer mode – Dead Effect 2 offers both cooperative and competitive (player vs. player) multplayer.
