IPL 2016: Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Pune Supergiants to go top

That was a real crunch game of cricket. Both the teams were in the chase but it was Hyderabad who kept their calm to win tonight. Tomorrow, we have Mach 41 where, Mumbai will play against Bangalore at the latter's den in Bengaluru at 2000 IST! Until then, take care and goodnight!

Adam Zampa, Man Of The Match, he says that it feels sad to lose the match. About the batsmen in this league, he says that it is always difficult to curb the flow of the batsmen scoring rate. On bowling the last over, he mentions that he was not aware that he would be bowling the final over as the captain was there in the middle to calm him down after that first ball biggie. About his experience, he says that it is a great experience to play in Indian T20 League.

David Warner says that it was a very close game. Admits that the pitch was slow and were in a thoughts that they were 15-20 runs short. As they had a low total so credits his bowlers. In the death overs, once again, Mustafizur and Nehra bowled really well and kept things tight. 14 were needed off the last six balls and Nehra once again showed his vintage form to get Perera out. Then, a brilliant teamwork to get Dhoni run out. It was all wired to the final ball, where Zampa was on the strike to score 5 off the final ball. But it was the unheralded hero Ojha who took a blinder to set his team to the winning line. With that ball going to the boundary would have resulted in a super over. Talking about Hyderabad's bowling they really bowled well. Especially Kumar, Mustafizur and all important Nehra who was the pick of the bowler with 3/29 figure. Earlier in the day, it was Adam Zampa who took 6/19 and then it was all about the Hyderabad pace attack. What a thriller we had! At the end, it was Hyderabad who held their nerves to score a win. After setting a low total, all they had to do was to bowl right on the money since ball one. And their ranks in Bhuvneshwar, Nehra and Sran did that certainly. Getting Rahane out in the first over was a good set back for Pune and then they notched Khawaja's wicket too. In middle Ashwin and Bailey did show some resistance but was too much to score for Perera and Dhoni at the end.
