The board of governors of Ayub Teaching Hospital in Abbottabad has finalised the appointment of four senior officers as per requirements of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institutions (MTI) Act, 2015.
This was stated in a press release issued by the facility on Sunday. “Dr Azizunnisa Abbasi has been appointed as the dean of Ayub Medical College, Dr Salim Afzal Khan as medical director and Muhammad Ajmal Khan as hospital director,” stated the document.
“Dr Siddiqur Rehman has been appointed as secretary to the board.”
As per the notification, the board met on Saturday and reviewed the recommendations of the selection committee constituted to finalise appointments.
According to the press release, the board reviewed the credentials and professional background of the candidates. It approved the names of the officers after conducting final interviews.
