Gusty winds delay Shatabdi Express by an hour

Bhopal: Strong winds accompanied by rain also hit the rail traffic in the city, as it delayed Habibganj- New Delhi Shatabdi by about an hour. The train was stopped after an OHE wire was broken on the track between Nishatpura and Sukhi Sewaniya.
The train finally departed at about 3:30 pm. The train had just reached Bhopal junction at about 2:30 pm and as the report of wire breakage came in the train was stopped there.According to the railway officials, movement of any train on the track would have led to short circuit.
In the meanwhile, tower wagon of railway electrical department reached the spot and fixed the problem. Commuters had to face troublesome time while waiting for about an hour at Bhopal junction.
