Barcelona to train at England's St George's Park in July

Barcelona will return to the National Football Centre at St George's Park for a training camp this summer.

Barca, who are chasing a domestic double of La Liga and Copa del Rey titles in the coming weeks, will be based at the Staffordshire complex between July 25-30.

The Spanish giants already used the £105 million facility in 2014, ahead of coach Luis Enrique's first season at the Camp Nou.

St George's Park general manager Holly Murdoch said: "I am absolutely thrilled that we have once again been able to attract Barcelona to come and train at St George's Park.

"We've been lucky enough to have already welcomed over 150 clubs to our facilities since we opened in 2012, and I truly believe that the return of Barcelona is proof of our growing reputation as an inspirational sports facility both at home and abroad."

After five days at St George's Park -- home to England's 24 national teams -- Barca will travel directly to Dublin for their opening pre-season friendly against Celtic in the International Champions Cup on July 30.

The reigning Spanish, European and Club World Cup champions have also confirmed pre-season matches against new Premier League champions Leicester and Europa League finalists Liverpool.
