Bhopal: A theft worth around Rs 4 lakh was reported from a locked house in Koh-e-Fiza area here on Saturday night. Police said Abbas Hussain Saifi, a resident of BDA colony, is complainant in the case. He and his family members had gone to their relative's place in the city. Incident came to light when they returned the next morning. The locks of their house were broken.
On rushing inside, the family realised that jewellery worth Rs 3.5 lakh, Rs 20,000 cash and some wrist watches were missing from the house. Police have registered a case against unidentified accused in the case.
3 of family die as dumper overturns on shanty: Three members of a family died in Morena district on Sunday after a stone-laden dumper turned upside down on a hut of a migrant family. The family, a couple and their 3-year-old kid, migrated to Morena district from drought-hit Tikamgarh in search of employment. Working as labourers, they had built a shanty near Tikri village where the accident took place. The driver fled the scene soon after the incident.
