Guwahati: The Don Bosco School, Panbazar, will celebrate the 11th Don Bosco Annual Rongali Bihu Utsav with a two-day programme on May 13-14.
Since 2006, the school has celebrated the festival. Workshops on Assamese tradition and customs have been regularly organized in the days before the programme.

On May 13, a shared Bihu jolpan (a feast with traditional Bihu delicacies) will be organized for the school students. The formal inauguration of the festival will be on May 14.
This will be followed by an exhibition of traditional Assamese paraphernalia and an inter-house Bihu nritya competition.
After this, the cultural programme will be kicked off with a hussori performance by Ranjit Gogoi's team, and music and dance performances by the teachers, students and a guest artist.
