Two 7-yr-old boys choked to death in car

Chandigarh: Tragedy struck a pre-wedding ceremony at Dighal village in Haryana's Jhajjar district when two seven-year-old boys playing in a Verna car with a centralised locking system accidentally got themselves trapped inside and died gasping for breath in the scorching heat on Sunday. Another four-year-old, who was also in the car, is admitted to PGIMS Rohtak in a serious condition.
Police said Hritik, Yakeen, and Yash were playing in the open area near the house while elders were busy with a marriage function.
Around noon, a neighbour spotted the three boys lying unconscious in the car parked nearby and raised an alarm. They were taken to hospital but Hritik and Yakeen died on the way while Yash is battling for life.
Jhajjar recorded a maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
