Observer checks statements
Gilani Basha, Expenditure Observer for the Alangudi Assembly Constituency, reviewed the expenditure statements submitted by the candidates contesting from the constituency on Saturday. He reviewed the distribution of booth slips to individual voters at their houses. R. Jayabharathi, Returning Officer for the Alangudi Assembly constituency, was present.
Arrangements
made
All arrangements have been made at the counting centre – Government College of Arts and Science for Women. In an official release issued here on Saturday, S. Swarna, District Collector, said that uninterrupted power supply would be ensured.
Postal ballot
S. Swarna, District Collector, said that adequate arrangements have been made for the distribution of postal ballots to teachers and government employees drafted for poll duty.
