Rail service between Srinagar-Banihal cancelled for security reasons

Srinagar, May 7 (UNI) All trains operating between Srinagar and Banihal in Jammu region have been cancelled today for security reasons, following death of three militants in an encounter with security forces in south Kashmir district of Pulwama early this morning.
However, train service from Srinagar-Badgam-Baramulla in north Kashmir will operate normally as per schedule.
The train service was affected on the route yesterday for several hours in the morning after some agitators’ damaged lighting system in Pattan area.
