City schools put up an impressive show in the ICSE and ISC Class X and XII examinations, the results of which were published nationwide on Friday.

Thiruvananthapuram: City schools put up an impressive show in the ICSE and ISC Class X and XII examinations, the results of which were published nationwide on Friday.
Lekshmi S Sunil of St Thomas School emerged the top scorer with 98.3% marks in the ICSE Class X examination, said the school principal Rajan K Varghese. As many as 215 students appeared for the ICSE (X) 2016 examinations in St Thomas School.
Of this, 202 students passed out with distinction.
All students appeared for the ICSE Class X examination from Loyola School passed out with distinction. Gautham S Lal is the top scorer.
Of the 148 students appeared for the ISC Class XII examination from St Thomas School, 95 candidates got distinction in science stream and 12 got distinction in commerce stream. Vishak S emerged topper in the science stream with 98.5% marks.
Trivandrum International School registered 100% pass in ICSE examination with Jyothika Joseph emerging the school topper with 93.8% marks. IN ISC, 83% students secured distinction.
Of the 67 students appeared for the ICSE examination from L'ecole Chempaka, 54 passed out with distinction. Of the 15 students appeared for the ISC examination, 12 passed with distinction and three with first class. Arav B J topped with 98% in ISC.
In Holy Angels' School, where 159 students had appeared for the ICSE (X) examination, 148 passed out with distinction. Salini Susan scored 98% marks to become the topper. In ISC, 53 of the total 89 students got distinction.
Of the 188 students appeared for ICSE examination at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, 167 got distinction. In ISC section 46 of 73 got distinction.
