Sudeep scores highest in ICSE

Students started celebrating their success as the results of ICSE and ISC were announced by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Friday.

Varanasi: Students started celebrating their success as the results of ICSE and ISC were announced by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Friday.
The wait for the results ended late on Friday afternoon and as soon as the results were announced the students logged on the websites to check their marks. Smart-phones were the most preferred gadget for students as well as their guardians to check the results.

The top score in ICSE exam from the city was 98% achieved by Sudeep Kumar Gupta of St. John's Ledhupur. According to principal of St. John's Ledhupur, Fr. Peter, Sudeep Kumar Gupta of class X, secured 98% while Tanisha Jaiswal and Saumya Singh stood second and third with 95% and 94%, respectively. In class XII science stream, Sabreen Bano secured highest with 93% followed by Divyansh Kanchan and Tanzim Fatima who secured 88% each in science stream while in commerce, Diksha Bharadwaj secured highest with 94.2% followed by Ashwaini Kumar Singh (93%) and Palak Srivastava (90%).
Principal of St. John's school Marhauli Fr. Thomas praised the students for making their school proud with excellent performance. Class X student, Palak Mishra topped with 96.30% followed by Abhigyan Srivastava (95.30%) and Kanika Didwania (95.30%). In Class XII, Shreyansh Agarwal scored 96.40% in science stream followed by Ashutosh Choubey (95.20%) and Zeba Aziz (94.60%) and in commerce, Shruti Agrawal topped with 94.80% followed by Madhav Somani (94%) and Sameeksha Shah (90.40%).
According to principal of WH Smith Memorial School AP Dey, Class X students Sagar Srivastava and Satyam Singh emerged as school toppers with 96% marks, followed by Tanusha Singh (95.50%) and Mallikashree Mahadevi Singh (94.33%). In science stream Class XII students Shivesh Pandey scored highest with 96.60%, followed by Amulya Agrawal (96.20%) and Abhishek Srivastava (95.60%) while in commerce Meenakshi Gupta topped with 94.20% followed by Faiz Ahmed (83%) and Himanshu Chaubey with 80.60%.

The students of Bal Bharti Public School also brought laurels to the school. School principal, Yasmin Bakht congtaulated students on their success. Bakht said Alvia Kamal of class X scored highest with 91.33%, followed by Harsh Varma (87.83%) and Rashi Singh (87%). In Class XII science stream Yashi Singh topped with 85% while second position was secured by Nitesh Agrahari (77.2%) and third by Utkarsh Verma (74.4%) while in commerce category, Sheeban Khan bagged the highest position with 87.4% followed by Manali Agrahari (84.2%) and Jagriti Agrahari (83.8%).
According to principal of St. Johns school DLW, Fr. Susai Raj, Class X student Ayushi Roy secured highest 97.17% followed by Mallika Mehrotra and Aadya Joshi who secured 96.83% each and Aman Maheshwari with 96.50%. Among class XII students of science stream, Mahi Saxena scored highest 95.60% followed by Ritika Pandey (94.60%) and Habib Rauf Ansari (94%) and in commerce stream, Prakriti Srivastava scored 95.60% followed by Anisha Mishra (92.80%) and Vinayak Tibrewal (92.20%).
