The Muhiyaddeen Jumma Masjid, MGM Youngmen and Al-Rifayiyya Daf Committee will organise an all-religion conference at Bailoor near Karkala on Saturday.

A State-level floodlight daf competition too will be organised on the occasion. A daf is a frame drum.

Addressing presspersons here on Friday, Shakir Hussain, member of the masjid committee, said that there were different religions in the country.

The religious practices of different faiths were different. It was essential for people of all religions to understand one another and live in harmony.

All people should treat all religions with respect. It was necessary to make the younger generation have a broadminded view. They should understand all religions.

Once people understood the religions of one another, there would be more peace and compassion in society. This was the objective of the conference of all religions at Bailoor.
