MLB relocates Puerto Rico series over Zika concerns

A pair of Major League Baseball games scheduled to be played in Puerto Rico later this month will be relocated to Miami due to growing concerns over the Zika virus in the area, MLB said on Friday.

The MLB Players Association had requested that Commissioner Rob Manfred relocate the May 30-31 games between the Miami Marlins and Pittsburgh Pirates after players expressed concerns about contracting and transmitting the Zika virus. — Reuters
