'C Voter survey' being publicized by AAP is fake : Badal
NAWANSHAHR: While AAP is going all out to publicize “C Voter Survey” which gives it 100 votes and thousands of posters have been pasted across the state, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has said that the survey is “fake, manipulated and imaginary”.
Badal who held a series of Sangat Darshan programmes in Nawanshahr on Friday said that AAP was only misleading people through this fake survey.
He even asked the people of Punjab to do soul searching to ascertain who was their real friend or foe.
Addressing people at Gujjarpur, Badal asked them not to be swayed by the “emotionally surcharged speeches of our opponents who were completely lack any sincerity, loyalty and commitment towards the state and its people”. Hitting hard at Congress and AAP for playing political gimmicks to woo the voters for the sake of their narrow vested interests, he asked the people to be wary of their “nefarious designs” to satiate their lust for power.
”What you people expect from the Congress and its leadership which had ruined our state politically, economically and religiously. No one could forget Congress leadership’s unpardonable role on river waters,” he said.
Lambasting the AAP as a band of tricksters (shurlibaaz), Badal said that their leadership was novice and had hardly any experience to run the state, and their level of administrative acumen and capability could be judged from their Delhi model, which had proved to be an utter failure. He said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was living in fool’s paradise by claiming that AAP would rule in Punjab despite the fact that he was not even remotely associated with the ground realities of the state and its people.
“How a person hailing from Haryana could have affinity and compassion for Punjab and its people. Kejriwal has already been exposed on his government’s flip flops on the affidavit filed in the apex court on SYL issue,” he said. “Majority of AAP leaders were not sincere and committed to its ideology rather were opportunists just to seek tickets, who have been virtually dumped by other political parties,” he added. Markfed chairman Nawanshahr assembly constituency in-charge Jarnail Singh Wahid was also present on the occasion.
