One Night Stand movie review: Sunny Leone and Tanuj Virwani fall prey to bad script and direction!

Sunny Leone is one such actor who is often shrugged off due to her past. But that doesn't change the fact that she is a good actress and has a great potential. Tanuj Virwani on the other hand too has immense talent in store which is quite visible in the film One Night Stand as not just his good looks but even his acting shines. However, what is absolutely letting down is the fact that these two chose One Night Stand to exhibit their skills. The movie's plot fails to impress and in fact, is so damn predictable! There are a lot of wrong things in this movie that has left me a little confused with respect to the genre that it falls in. I'm sorry, was it a drama or a thriller or a romantic thriller? Because clearly it had some illogical drama in it that was the last thing to witness on an already eventful week. If you have high hopes of raunchy scenes done tastefully or storyline reaching a valid reasoning, then you better hop on to some other film wagon because this one will lead to a very mixed up plot. The story as it is clear already, is the consequence of what happens in two individuals' lives after they have a one night stand. The most hypocritical part of the entire film is the fact that they both are no saints but somehow only one's fate receives the tumults of the mistake. What's Hot?

Do I even answer that? Definitely Sunny Leone and her chemistry with Tanuj Virwani! The duo look super hot as a pair and have even delivered a good job with respect to acting. For all those who think Sunny isn't a good actor, you have got to give this movie a go because she has done a good job in the film. Tanuj too has managed to jump from a loverboy's role to a crazy creepy person's arena. The transition with his roles taking a drastic change is done very well. Sunny too exchanges roles from that of an extremely hot lady to a hot mommy. Quite like a Santoor ad, if you ask me. What's Not?

The fact that these two talented people chose to waste their talent in this movie. Not only does the film hold a terrible plotline with predictable twists but also showcases some bad direction. The movie starts with a married Tanuj aka Urvil and his playboy nature where his next prey is Sunny aka Celina. Now Celina knows how he rolls and yet she falls for the act and ends up in bed with him. The speed in which this happened, hats off man! But soon, this guy is smitten by her and tries his luck by searching her on Google. Really? In the time of Facebook, Google is your best solution? But that's not the only illogical part. He finally bumps into her in a party where he finds out that she is in fact, married too! So the drunk Urvil follows Celina (who really is Ambar) to the ladies room and forces himself on her seeking for answers. She decides to give him her REAL phone number. But she never picks up his call. Okay. Smart move. But Urvil is not stupid. The stalker in him finds her residence number and calls her place. She's pissed and decides to meet him and sort it once and for all and in the heat of the moment, calls him a stalker. The egoistic side of him props out again and he actually BECOMES one! Say wha? There is a Prem Aggan connection to this film too where because of their names, they can never be together (supposedly). Urvil thinks he knows woman but Celina/Ambar and his best friend remind him that 'He Knows Nothing'! Oh and if you're expecting some steamy scenes then don't bother, they're quite distasteful.

Clearly, by the end of the film, you'll wonder what was the point of the film in the first place. It starts with a silly cheating game that soon turns into a petty stalking game that results in a housewreck and somehow even feminism and male ego wiggle in the storyline. All I want to ask Tanuj and Sunny is, why?
