They were shortly released by police. As the senior leadership went inside Parliament Street Police Station, many party leaders such as Renuka Chaudhary climbed on railing of police station and raised slogans against the central government. Soon after the senior leadership was released, the NSUI and youth Congress broke the first line of barricades and tried to march towards Parliament. However, they were later stopped by police.
