    1. What makes Bengaluru tick?

At the moment, it seems like everyone in Bengaluru is “ticked off“ with the weather. On a serious note, it's the people of Bengaluru that make this city tick. We have people from all over the country and other parts of the world living here in perfect harmony. The rich culture and easy-going Bengalureans make this city a great place to live in.

    2. What is your favourite Bengaluru moment?

The rise of football in our city is a big moment for a sports buff like me. Recently, our very own football club, Bengaluru Football Club, won the I-League in its debut season. This meant a great deal for football fans in our city and for the sport, which is always in the shadow of cricket in India. Over the past year, the number of supporters of Bengaluru Football Club has increased and the fans are popularly known as the West Block Blues. In high school, I used to play football at the interschool level. In fact, I was the captain of the Bishop Cotton's Boys School football team for a couple of tournaments. I had the pleasure of playing alongside Eugeneson Lyngdoh, who now plays for BFC and India.

    3. If you were the dictator of Bengaluru, what is the first thing you would do?

I would find the `genius' who constructed Bengaluru's gigantic speed breakers and ask him to rectify them. There is a lot that I wish to do. But I would like to start with extending the deadlines in night clubs and forming a committee which would focus on bringing international artists such as live bands, Broadway musicals, plays and stand-up comedians on a regular basis to Bengaluru. As a Bengalurean, I believe that we enjoy art in all forms and languages. I would definitely encourage art to thrive.

    4. Who is your favourite Bengalurean? Why?

I have too many favourites.Everyone in Bengaluru has been kind to me and my family, whether it's my neighbours or our domestic help. I have received a lot of love from everyone in the city, barring a few ex-girlfriends (chuckles). However, my favourite Bengalurean is designer Manoviraj Khosla. His fun-loving spirit is infectious. He is a true friend and has supported me and my band from the time we started. He is the life of every party.

    5. If not Bengaluru, which city? Why?

I would live in Singapore. It sounds like my last name. Who knows, I might even get honorary citizenship there. Plus it's only a few hours away from Bengaluru, so I can frequently shuttle between the two cities.
