Goran Dragic gets eight stitches after elbow from DeMar DeRozan
Miami Heat guard Goran Dragic left for the locker room after taking an elbow to the face from DeMar DeRozan in the second quarter of Game 2 against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night.
Dragic, who was called for a blocking foul on the play, immediately exited the court with blood streaming down his face.
At halftime, the Heat announced that he received three stitches on the inside of his lip and five on the outside due to his bottom teeth going through his lip.
He finished the first half with a team-high 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field and returned to the game at the start of the second half.
Dragic finished with a team-high 20 points, but the Raptors prevailed 96-92 in overtime to tie the series 1-1.
