The EC on Thursday rejected, as "unsubstantial", the complaints against Nandigram Trinamool candidate Subhendu Adhikari that he tried to manipulate polls by using police.
Kolkata: The EC on Thursday rejected, as "unsubstantial", the complaints against Nandigram Trinamool candidate Subhendu Adhikari that he tried to manipulate polls by using police.
"According to the DM's report, the complaint was found unsubstantial," said a poll panel official.
The CPM and BJP had alleged that Adhikari held a secret meeting on May 1-2 night with cops to disrupt polls on May 5.
