Fiza property case: Chandigarh local court accepts plea of man who claims to be husband

The next hearing in the case is on July 8.

A local court has accepted the petition filed by a Uttar Pradesh resident claiming to be the husband of Anuradha Bali aka Fiza and demanded his share in her property.

The next hearing in the case is on July 8. The court also issued notices to Fiza’s three sisters and Greater Mohali Area Development Authority.

The court of civil judge (senior divison) Amit Thind accepted the petition filed by Israr Khan. Khan, in his petition, claimed that he married Fiza and hence is a shareholder in her property.

Fiza, who was found dead at her residence in Sector 48 in August 2012, owned three luxury cars, a palatial house and cash worth crores.
