JP School come runners-up in basketball tournament

JAMMU: JP World School, Channi, bagged second position in the under-17 inter-school basketball championship organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at MA Stadium here from May 2 to 4.

JP World School, Channi, bagged second position in the under-17 inter-school basketball championship organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at MA Stadium here from May 2 to 4.

JP World School reached the final after defeating St Peter School, Karanbagh, Army Public School, Nagrota, and Heritage Public School by a big margin. The final match was played between JP World School and Naagbeni Public School, Akhnoor Road, in which JP World School lost the match by 2 baskets.

Aditya, Mananya, Amandeep, Amarpreet and Ashish of JP World School played well and appreciated by district officials.

On their arrival in school, managing trustee Ashok Singh Manhas, Principal Jitinder Singh Hundal and all staff members and students welcomed and congratulated them and their coach Ankita Singh for their outstanding performance. The principal of JP World School, Channi, wished them bright future ahead.
