Watch New Top Gear Trailer Showing Chris Evans And Matt LeBlanc's Need For Speed

With the new Top Gear series less than three weeks away, Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc have appeared in yet another trailer.

The clip begins with the presenting pair standing in a wet and windy Blackpool.

“Welcome to the greatest city on earth,” they are told while being rained on outside the Blackpool Tower.

The 40-second promo video then launches into a complication of clips featuring Chris and Matt speeding around the world in various supercars.

Several guest stars also feature in the clip, including Tinie Tempah, who can be seen speeding along with Matt as his passenger.

In another shot, Chris is chauffeuring Seasick Steve along a bumpy road and jokes to the star: “You’ve got the best view, my brother.”

Steve replies: “I don’t want to look!”

And Texas singer Sharleen Spiteri is seen driving Top Gear co-host Eddie Jordan along an even bumpier road while he tries to navigate.

He shouts: “Straight, straight, watch the bump here,” before their motor comes crashing down into a huge puddle of water sending the pair flying out of their seats.

The clip culminates with Chris and Matt back outside the Blackpool Tower in the pouring rain.

As they’re asked if the intro was OK, Matt replies: “I liked it.”

Top Gear will return to BBC Two on May 22.
