The Opportunity

The External Relations, Development and Alumni team (ERDA) seeks an energetic and motivated professional to serve as the Annual Giving Coordinator for the delivery of fundraising appeals (including mailings and emails) primarily to an alumni audience. You will also play an important role in helping to implement a program to increase the number of Leadership Giving donors ($1,000 to $25,000) to the University, and to put together retention strategies to keep our donors giving.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•provide oversight of the direct mailing program, managing two major fundraising mailouts per year. Each mailout will reach out to 50,000 alumni and will aim to raise at least $50,000
•analyse data relevant to fundraising appeals to provide insights into and plan for future appeals
•develop and implement new fundraising strategies and products that will encourage Annual Giving donors to give donations on a cyclical/recurrent basis
•provide recommendations and assistance to the Senior Manager, Annual and Leadership Giving in the development and execution of the Annual Giving strategy
•create engaging content for the Monash University Giving web pages
•develop and implement new initiatives to recognise, acknowledge and thank donors across all giving levels.
