The historical novels on Keladi rules, Keladi Shivappa Nayak and Keladi Chennama Rani, authored by B. Siddalingaiah and brought out by the Priyadarshini Prakashana will be released on May 8.
Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda will release the books at a function to be held at the Bangalore University premises at Kalagrama, Mallattahalli.
Former minister B.T. Lalita Nayak and Raje Gowda Hosalli will hold talks about the books at the function.
Renowned research scholar Hampa Nagarajaiah will be the chief guest and preside over the event.
