Ragging probe report likely today

Allahabad: The five-member high-powered panel constituted to look into the charges of ragging of an MBBS student by his seniors continued to take down statements on Wednesday as well. College authorities claimed that there was a delay of a day in submitting the report due to visit of MCI team. "The team was busy briefing the MCI members so the probe report will be submitted on Thursday," said probe panel head Dr RB Kamal.The college even caught the attention of Prime Minister's Office (PMO) which referred the case to the Medical Council of India (MCI) and a committee was set up to probe the issue. tnn
