The 2016 edition of the PUNUKA Attorneys and Solicitors Lecture which holds today in Lagos may have been packaged to give more teeth to the Federal Government’s diversification drive.

Billed for the Metropolitan Club, Victoria Island, Lagos and with the theme: ‘The challenge of balancing the need for protection of developing economies and the provision of an enabling environment for foreign investment and trade,’’ the lecture is to focus on how Nigeria can establish a balance between creating an enabling environment for foreign investment and trade as well as protecting local manufacturers and business men to ensure the economic advancement of the nation.

According to a release, a Professor of Trade and Investment at John Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, United States of America, Robert Lawrence is to deliver the keynote address.

Former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon (rtd) and Chief Anthony Idigbe are among the dignitaries expected at the event.
