Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today it received a bridge contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide research operations support services (ROSS) for the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Edwards Air Force Base (Edwards) in California.

The bridge contract is for a period of six months and is valued at $9,837,482.

As the incumbent contractor with more than 15 years of experience at Edwards, Jacobs’ more than 100 propulsion and support professionals provide research operations support to the AFRL, including planning, scheduling, management and evaluation of liquid, solid, hybrid, electronic and chemical propulsion system tests.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Senior Vice President Aerospace and Technology Ward Johnson stated, “Jacobs is proud to continue our longstanding support of the AFRL and its mission to lead the discovery, development and integration of affordable technologies for America's aerospace program.
