Tiger-spotting for Jonty Rhodes in Ranthambore
Former South African cricketer and current Mumbai Indians fielding coach Jonty Rhodes, who is in India for the Indian Premier League, has been in Ranthambore for the last three days with his wife Melanie Jeanne and kids India and Ethan. The former cricketer reached Sawai Madhopur on Monday night and went on a safari in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve both on Tuesday and Wednesday.
He was lucky enough to sight tigers, sources told us. “While exploring the reserve, he along with his family, spotted tigers in Zone 3 and 4 on Tuesday morning. On Wednesday morning, they spotted tigers in Zone 3 and 5. Jonty, just like any other visitor, was thrilled to spot tigers; so were his kids and wife,” said Mangal Singh Rathore, ACF (assistant conservator of forest), Ranthambore National Park. Jonty also shared a picture of his kids on Twitter, saying, “India and Ethan out spotting tigers #ranthambore #paradise #incredibleindia #savethestripes”???
