Sai Dharam Tej's much-awaited movie, "Supreme," which is getting released in theatres on May 5, is gearing up to lock horns with the Telugu version of Suriya's Tamil movie, "24," which will hit screens a day later.

Written and directed by Anil Ravipudi, "Supreme" is a family drama, which is said to be very high on the entertainment quotient. Sai Dharam Tej is playing a cab driver, who goes that extra mile to solve the problems of others. "'Supreme' is a film for ages 6 to 65. Right from the first frame, there will be huge entertainment which will impress every section of the audience," the actor told 123Telugu.

"Supreme" is a medium-budget movie and producer Dil Raju, who has bankrolled it under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, has shelled out a hefty sum on its promotions. The huge hype has reportedly helped the film earn a good amount of table profit for the makers in its pre-release business.

The Sai Dharam Tej and Rashi Khanna-starrer has received a 'U/A' certificate from the censor board. As per the ads featured in newspapers, "Supreme" is going to be released in over 500 screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and 150 screens in other parts of the world. Though the movie will be shown at more than 650 theatres around the world on Thursday, it is feeling the heat from the much-hyped movie, "24."

Written and directed by Vikram Kumar, of "Manam" fame, "24" is a science fiction thriller, starring Suriya, Samantha and Nithya Menen. Suriya is one of the popular Tamil actors in the Telugu-speaking states and all his recent releases have fared well in the region. His latest outing has been dubbed and will be released with the same title in over 350 cinema halls in the Telugu-speaking states.

Both "Supreme" and "24" are much-hyped and highly-anticipated films of the year. Their makers have shelled out hefty sums on their promotions and also made sure that they will be released in a decent number of cinema halls. The two are surely going to clash with each other at the box office this week.
