74-Litres Diesel Filled In A 70-Litre Tank! Man Cheated At Petrol Station
The vehicle must have a bigger tank. Well, that was one of the answers the fuel station attendant told Sumit Parmar, a resident of Delhi, when he pulled up at a gas station to fill his XUV500. He was handed over a bill for 74-litres of diesel when his vehicle has a tank capacity of just 70-litres.
Sumit claims that he already had around 10-litres of diesel in his vehicle's tank when he went to refuel and was taken aback with the bill. When he questioned the fuel station attendants, they simply laughed it off and asked Sumit to go do what he can since the fuel station owner knew the police very well and was even a close friend of Mr. Kejriwal!
Sumit looked for a solution and seeked the help of social media and when he posted his incident on Facebook, his post immediately received good response and was shared over 13,000 times in 24 hours.
Later, Sumit claims that he got received calls from the fuel station to discuss the issue and also a message from Dharmender Pradhan, the Petroleum Minister assuring a solution.
If the above incident is 100 percent true, what's with the country? Has a common man's life become worthless compared to the rich? What does the police department think and also the politicians? Do feel free to share your thoughts.
