JAMMU, May 3: A delegation of PHDCCI Jammu Committee today had an interactive meeting with HK Verma, Chief General Manager, BSNL, Jammu, in his office chamber and presented him a memorandum asking for improvement in BSNL Cellone Network, in specific reduction in Call drops and elimination of voice distortion.
PHD Chamber further requested for opening of BSNL Centres in Jammu, Udhampur and Katra Railway Stations as well as in Jammu Airport to provide SIMs of validity of 3/4 days for Yatris coming to pay obeisance at the holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi. The Chamber further stressed for provision of WiFi facilities from Katra to Bhawan.
The CGM said BSNL is expecting delivery of equipments of 93 Towers within the month and these Towers are likely to be commissioned within 4 months. “Once these Towers are installed, the quality of service will improve automatically”, he said, adding that BSNL would continue to provide quality services at reasonable rates to all subscribers in the State.
The delegation was led by Vikrant Kuthiala, Chairman and consisted of Rajinder Motial, Ajay Gandotra, Prashant Mathur and Pamil Sharma.
