Onenightidreamed to try for back to back wins

Willie Mullins sending two runners to Tramore with both looking to make winning debuts

Onenightidreamed is in line to try and record back to back wins in Sunday’s Group 3 Amethyst Stakes at Leopardstown.

Tommy Stack’s mud-loving star just edged Sruthan in last year’s renewal of the €60,000 highlight, and both horses are among an entry of 14 still left in the mile race.

Onenightidreamed was a beaten favourite in the Heritage Stakes at Navan last month, but prior to that landed the Gladness Stakes at the Curragh.

The former Group 1 Phoenix Stakes winner Dick Whittington returned from a year’s absence to finish sixth in the Gladness, while another Aidan O’Brien-trained possible for Sunday’s race is Cougar Mountain.

Willie Mullins is not wasting time settling into the new National Hunt season, and sends two runners to Wednesday's Tramore fixture with both looking to make winning debuts.

Bakougan goes in the bumper, but Penhill brings plenty of experience from the flat and ran off a mark of 100 in last autumn's November Handicap at Doncaster for Luca Cumani.

If he runs to that kind of level in the maiden hurdle then his opposition face a tough task.

Davy Russell can get the meeting off to a good start on Ciao Cielo, and looks to hold good claims in the handicap chase with the Downpatrick winner Shadow Play.
