Boulder, CO (PRWEB) May 03, 2016 -- E Source, a leading energy research and advisory firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Sue Laufenberg and Julie Rowey to its Consulting Solutions team. These two energy industry leaders, who have deep knowledge in the areas of customer experience, marketing, and account management, will be valuable assets for E Source’s clients.
“We’re thrilled that by adding Sue and Julie to the team, we’re able to expand our support for utility customer experience initiatives,” says Wayne Greenberg, E Source CEO. “Their experience both within and outside the utility industry will help us continue to provide the best-in-class solutions our customers need. She’ll help E Source clients develop strategies, perform gap analyses, and create execution plans. For nearly a decade, Laufenberg worked at Duke Energy responsible for developing and executing growth strategies for the utility’s largest customers in the healthcare, commercial real estate, and data center markets. Laufenberg earned a master’s degree in business as well as one in training and development from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Julie Rowey’s background is in customer experience and marketing. She has worked for gas and electric utilities as well as in the finance and publishing industries, developing skills that will be critical in helping utilities deliver an optimal customer experience. Most recently, Rowey was vice president of Marketing for Summit Utilities, a gas utility with operations in Colorado and several other states. Before that, she was the senior manager of Customer Experience and Marketing at Southern California Edison, a position she held for nearly 10 years. She has also held leadership roles at Tendril, Sanwa Bank, and the Los Angeles Times. Rowey graduated from the University of California–Los Angeles with a degree in English and communications.
“After being a client for many years, it’s exciting to now be a part of the E Source team,” says Laufenberg. “The support and expertise E Source provides is unlike any other firm I’ve worked with. I know firsthand the challenges utilities face, and I’m confident I can help our customers overcome them.”
“Customer experience should be at the core of every utility’s strategy,” adds Rowey, “and that’s reflected in E Source’s commitment to moving from demand-side management to customer-side managemen t. E Source works with hundreds of utilities in the US and Canada, and I’m looking forward to helping these companies become industry leaders by shifting to a customer-centric model.”
