Opposition seeks indiscriminate accountability against corrupt leaders: Shah Mehmood

Shah said that political parties would altogether take the issue to its logical conclusion.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday has stated that opposition is moving forward with consensus over Panama leaks issue.

Shah Mehmood said that the opposition is signing on the conditions on which all the leaders expressed their consent.

He said that political parties would altogether take the issue to its logical conclusion while legal team would monitor the law-related matters.

PTI leader said that legal experts would submit their report over Terms of References (ToRs) designated for commission made to probe Panama leaks.

He said that opposition leaders are seeking indiscriminate accountability over corruption charges. He also urged to start the probe from today.

On the other hand, committee formed by the opposition parties will convene a meeting today to finalise joint TORs against the government in Panama leaks matter.

The parties are going to meet for the second time in two consecutive days.

The committee that was formed by the parties yesterday comprises of Aitzaz Ahsan, Hamid Khan Shamil, Mushahid Hussain, Asadullah Bhutto, Aneesa Zaib, Sheikh Rasheed, Mian Iftikhar, Mir Israrullah Zehri and Khalid Maqbool.
