'EastEnders' Spoiler: Aaron Sidwell 'To Reprise Steven Beale Role'

There's an 'explosive' twist round the corner for the Beale family.

‘EastEnders’ viewers are in for a blast from the past when Aaron Sidwell returns to Albert Square as Steven Beale, according to reports.

After eight years away from Walford, Digital Spy have reported that Aaron is already back on set, meaning fans can expect to see him back in the show in the not-too-distant future.

And as if things haven’t been tough enough for Ian Beale in the past couple of years, the site have teased that Steven’s return is as part of an “explosive new storyline” said to shake up the family once again.

During his time in the show, Steven Beale was at the centre of plenty of dramatic storylines, most notably when he stalked and eventually kidnapped his step-father, Ian, and was involved in a bisexual love triangle with Christian Clarke and Stacey Slater.

Aaron’s character then left for New Zealand, where he was joined by Lauren Branning (played by Jacqueline Jossa), who Digital Spy have remarked is also set to return to the soap later this year, meaning their returns could well be linked in some way.

Since bowing out of ‘EastEnders’, Aaron Sidwell has enjoyed a successful career as a theatre actor, appearing as Tybalt in a touring production of Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo And Juliet’, as well as West End productions of shows like ‘Cool Rider: Live’ and ‘American Idiot’.
