Bridge courses for madrassa students

The Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has introduced bridge courses to integrate students passing out of madrassas into mainstream education.

After completion of the bridge course, the candidates will be eligible for admission into Under Graduate programmes by the university. Students who graduate from the madrassas, which are recognised by the State Madrassas Board, are eligible for admission, a press release from the university stated.

Meanwhile, the MANUU has invited applications for admission into various courses like Post Graduation in Urdu, English, Hindi, Arabic and Persian, Women Studies, Public Administration, Political Science, Social Work, Islamic Studies, History, Economics and Sociology.

Last date for submission of filled in application forms for all entrance-based courses will be May 31, while for all other merit-based admission swill be July 11.
