Tuetken Farms saw over four inches of rain in the past week and is feeling the effects.

According to this week's Crop Progress Report, 66% of the corn in Illinois is planted with 25% emerged.

"Most of the corn around here is planted and up, but rain has stifled progress this week," says Tyler Mudd (Instagram: @tmuddly17). "Each system has been somewhat spotty, however you might get a toadstrangler at one farm while your neighbor down the road barely gets his dust settled."

In Missouri, 89% of the corn is planted and 57% is already emerged.

A cloudy and rainy weekend didn't stop this emerged corn from continuing to grow in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

In Indiana, 30% of corn is planted with only 4% emerged.

This field of corn near Maxwell, Iowa, was planted on April 16th and is barely peaking through.

According to the latest Crop Progress Report, 57% of Iowa corn is planted with 7% emerged.

"We planted this corn in early April," says Julie of Canton, Kansas. "The recent rainfall has helped it to grow!"

Julie and her husband plan to plant their soybeans the second week of May.

In Kansas, 50% of the corn is planted and 27% of that is emerged.

Wheat in Monroe City, Missouri

"Our ultra early wheat varieties started to head out this week," says Tyler Mudd (Instagram: @tmuddly17).

According to the latest Crop Progress Report, 56% of the winter wheat in Missouri is headed. Missouri's winter wheat is doing well with 57% rated as good, 28% rated fair, and 11% excellent.
