Rebutting Congress strategist Kishor’s claim that he never contacted AAP leader HS Phoolka, the latter today released the details of the alleged mediator.
Phoolka said he was contacted for the first time on behalf of Prashant Kishor on April 13, 2016 and many attempts were made after that to contact him. He said that he didn’t pay heed to it initially. That is why didn’t share it with media.
However, when on April 30, Phoolka again received an SMS seeking suggestions for justice to the Sikhs he decided to share it with the media.
He said on April 13, Dr Bipin Jha, who is from England contacted Inderpal Singh Shergill in Leicester, England.
Phoolka was also there at the time. Shergill was an organiser of his events in England. Dr Jha asked Shergill to request Phoolka to speak to him and Kishor. Phoolka claimed that he flatly refused to do so. Again on April 30, Dr Jha contacted Inderpal to make another attempt. Phoolka claimed that on the same day, he received a call directly from Dr Jha.
However, Kishor’s Indian Political Action Committee called it a fixed match. “So one who apparently approached & who got approached are both from AAP,” it tweeted.
