Evaluation of answer-books begins in city

Patna: The evaluation of answer-books for Degree Part III (Honours) of Magadh University (MU) started at JD Women's College and A N College centres on Monday. MU has engaged more than 1000 teachers in the centralized evaluation work. Most of the examiners turned up at the centres. It will continue for 12 days.
MU Patna branch office OSD Asha Singh said, "Vice-chancellor Mohd Ishtiyaque has already directed the teachers to join evaluation duty after engaging their classes."
MU has appointed chief observers, static observers and subject coordinators for the two centres to maintain transparency.The answer-books of science and commerce are being evaluated at J D Women's College centre while A N College centre is exclusively for arts. tnn
She said the MU Patna branch office would function from 9am to 10pm every day to coordinate with these two evaluation centres. "The branch office would also ensure that the evaluated answer-book marks in sealed covers are expedited for tabulation work so that the university could publish the results on time," she said.
