Arun Kumar has instructed the municipal officials to provide water tap connections to all the households according top priority in view of the city being developed as a smart city. Since people may not be able to pay the tap connections charges immediately, he wanted the officers to provide tap connections with municipality funds first and later recover the registration, tap installation charges from the household in instalments later.
