Recently-released movie "Baaghi," starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor, has become one of the most pirated movies of 2016 for the week gone by on BitTorrent. TorrentFreak.com on sunday, May 2, released a weekly list of top 10 most downloaded/pirated movies on BitTorrent and it has "Baaghi" in the 10th slot.

"Baaghi" is a romantic action movie released on April 29, and has had a good opening at the box office. "Deadpool," which has been in the number one position over the past two weeks, has topped the list of top 10 most downloaded movies yet again.

"Deadpool" is followed by "Zootopia" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." "Baaghi" is the only Bollywood film in the list as the full movie became available online for free download — albeit illegally — soon after its release. Other most pirated movies of the week gone by are "The Jungle Book," "The Boss," "Triple 9," "The Huntsman: Winter's War," "Ride Alone 2" and "Hail Caesar!"

BitTorrent is one of the most popular sites for free movie downloads — the copies are usually illegal — and a Bollywood film making it to the top 10 most downloaded movies in a week is a rare occurrence. Piracy has always been a big enemy of the movie industry, as most of the films become available online just a day after release.

Directed by Sabbir Khan, "Baaghi" has opened to mixed reviews from critics, but has recorded the third-highest box office opening collection of 2016 in India, after Shah Rukh Khan's "Fan" and Akshay Kumar's "Airlift." Doing opening day business of Rs. 11.94 crore at the domestic market, the Tiger and Shraddha-starrer has collected Rs. 38.58 crore till Sunday.
