CBI arrests former MoS officer, Delhi police inspector for taking bribe
NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested the then officer on Special Duty Ashutosh Kumar Singh of former Minister of State for Home Affairs Shriprakash Jaiswal alongwith a Delhi Police Inspector Kehar Singh for taking bribe of Rs 3 lakh.
During the searches, agency has recovered Rs 40 lakh cash and luxury cars and large number of properties from accused persons.

The probe so far has revealed that AK Singh was earlier deputy general manager, handicraft handloom export council, ministry of textile.
Going into the background of case, officials said that AK Singh was roaming in a car with red beacon. A complaint was received at Janakpuri police station, against him as he was accused of duping someone of Rs one crore for releasing wages and pending arrears of workers at food corporation of India.
Inspector Kehar Singh was the investigating officer in the case against Singh.
CBI probe revealed that AK Singh is not a private individual but a public servant. He has 6 residences, four in Mumbai and one in Noida and a bungalow in Mumbai. He also owns two Mercedes which have red beacon.
AK Singh is alleged to have duped people in past too, says CBI.
He had earlier been OSD to the then MoS home.
During searches, CBI has recovered Identity and visiting cards from AK Singh residence which he got made himself posing as Joint Secretary, OSD to CM Uttarakhand and secretary in Prasar Bharti.
