MILAN -- Athletes and the Brazilian authorities are not the only ones counting the days till the Rio Olympics. Corporations big and small are getting ready to show off their brands in one of the world's most celebrated sporting events. Italian fitness equipment manufacturer Technogym is one of them.
Technogym will provide 1,000 pieces of equipment at 15 training centers in Rio. In addition, they will set up cloud platforms so athletes can keep track of their training via smartphones and other mobile devices. Technogym believes that the feature makes their equipment a premium product, and gives it an edge over the competition.
