Subodh Bhave becomes a psychopath

Subodh Bhave, the Marathi actor known for his serious performances in movies such as 'Balgandharva' and 'Katyar Kaljat Ghusli', is set to venture into a different territory. He will be playing a psychopath in his next film 'Khel'. “I am bored of social films. I want experiment with other genres as well,” he says.

According to Subodh, he is trying to get out of his comfort zone. “I don’t want to stereotype myself.I firmly believe that an actor should always test himself. Therefore, I am playing different kinds of role. You can see me in comic role in 'Kiran Kulkarni vs Kiran Kulkarni'. I had fun playing this role because it gave me a chance to have fun and go crazy while acting. Similarly, I am playing a role of psychopathic villain in my next film. This is again a very different and challenging role because I have to play a person who has split personality,” he shares.
“These roles are a refreshing break for me from my previous monotonous serious roles,” he further adds.
