Keimei acquires Yantai Huada Nano Materials

Keimei Plastifizierung Technik GmbH has recently completed the acquisition of Yantai Huada Nano Materials. The company will be officially renamed to Keimei Plastifizierung Technik (Yantai). The new company will expand the production capacity of the nano grade masterbatch product and increase the number of varieties, so as to satisfy the demands of customers in Asia Pacific and Middle East, and provide more convenient services.

Through the acquisition, the Eisvogel nano materials would meet the coloration requirements of chemical fibres, nonwoven fabrics and support high end spunmelt nonwoven customers. Partial implement of the machine products of Keimei, would complement the manufacturing output in new company to reduce manufacturing costs and provide more convenient technical services for machine products such as extruder, nonwoven and fibre spinning lab equipment which are made in Germany.

“The recent acquisition is not the only outcome of the close cooperation between both parties, which is highly complementary in the areas of business and technology development. It also presents an important platform in the world market for Keimei to promote its products worldwide. Soon Keimei will implement many advanced production lines to transform the former Huada plant to be one of the main production bases for Eisvogel Nano masterials,”Keimei said in a press release.

The new senior management team will be delegated by Keimei Plastifizierung Technik GmbH and will take over the operation and management of the new company. Keimei Plastifizierung Technik GmbH, located in Willich, Germany, is committed to the research of plasticization technology and the manufacture of its relevant products. The company possess many patents relating to plasticization technology, including the technology for twin screw extruder, triple screw extruder and nano materials. (NA)
